Am I bound to forever be an employee

What does it take to be a leader, and not only a leader but an entrepreneur, a lot of hard work is the answer most commonly sold, but is this true and if so, am i bout to forever be an employee, it can be difficult some days to get into gear, and other days it is impossible to stop, and on the days you can't stop it seems that the day ends too quickly.

As an employee i don't have to think too much about anything, there are so many precautions in place so that if i fuck up, somehow it won't be too big of a problem, or there are just steps involved that get any task that is meaningful high enought out of the grasp of an average computer monkey into the hands of someone whose salary is enough to incentivize them not to be as foolish as i would be

This brings about another question of how much is enough, maybe being an employee is ideal because of the lack of risk and the lack of reward, or maybe in a high enough paying job the risk is manageable but the reward is also worth it as well, but what is that magic number?

It seems that most days are not the super productive days, and also i would never want to be in a position as an employee where i am overworking my salary, this ends up leading to a slump, where you just pass the time passively instead of taking an active interest in your job and climbing the corporate ladder, which in itself is soul sucking as you end up having to lick far too much ass for the pay rise, i feel that this is the type of employee that keeps corporates running, the endless line of hamsters willing to jump on the treadmill, is there really no one able to tell the truth that no one is really that invested and as long as my salary comes i will show up on monday, there has to be some sense of corporate lunacy that keeps peoples heads in the game
